Changes to NISC Regular Services During Statutory Holidays

This message is for all importers and custom brokers who do business with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s (CFIA) National Import Service Centre (NISC).

Please be advised that the National Import Service Center (NISC) telephone lines (1-800-835-4486, 1-877-493-0468, 1-289-247-4099) are not monitored on:

weekends (Friday 11 pm EST to Monday 7 am EST) and
statutory holidays (6 pm EST the preceding day to 7 am the following day).

During these periods, the NISC can be reached by email at [email protected].

The NISC hours of operation continue to be from 7:00 AM EST to 3:00 AM.
