CN Service - Edson Subdivision

The following message is from CN.

- Train M30151-18 derailed along the Edson subdivision of the CN main line on Saturday, October 19th at 0100hrs MDT. The incident, which occurred near Gainford, AB, is currently hindering traffic scheduled to run along the Prince Rupert-Edmonton and Vancouver-Edmonton corridors.

- CN emergency responders are on-site and working with local authorities to clear the site as soon as possible. In addition, CN has made arrangements to detour a portion of the affected traffic in order to minimize delays. Customers should expect, however, that shipments scheduled to move through the affected area may be delayed by 48 hours.
