Consultation on proposed import requirements for propagative material of Rubus and Ribes spp. from all origins

Please be advised that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency is currently consulting on a new proposed import directive, D-18-01: Phytosanitary import requirements for propagative material of Rubus and Ribes species from all origins.

This directive outlines the specific requirements that must be met in order to import regulated propagative material of Rubus and Ribes spp. from all origins. The proposed measures will help protect Canada from the introduction of regulated plant pests such as Rubus Stunt Phytoplasma, while also aligning our import requirements with those of our major trading partners.
