CBSA’s Accounts Receivable Ledger Project (ARL) has just reached the end of its design phase. Key policy decisions have been made and industry now has just twelve months to prepare. While there will be no change to accounting timeframes, the switchover to Daily Notices and Monthly Statements of Account will mean significant change for all customs brokers and importers. Presenters will provide both an overview and specific details of the key policy decisions that will impact your management of payment and reconciliation under ARL.

Now that the final phases of the project are upon us, carriers, freight forwarders, importers and customs brokers must collaborate for this to work as intended.
