CUSMA/USMCA Information

CBP (U.S. Customs and Border Protection) have announced a United States-Mexico-Canada Center to coordinate the implementation of USMCA. The announcement indicates that this center is in collaboration with Canadian and Mexican authorities and the CSCB followed up with CBSA for additional information regarding Canada’s participation.

We were advised that CBSA has been part of working-level bi-weekly discussions with US and Mexico and that these discussions are focussed on information sharing as well as outreach with stakeholders.

On its website, CBSA has a section on CUSMA that provides access to information and resources when importing CUSMA-eligible goods into Canada.
