1. The purpose of this notice is to advise that:
- (a) effective November 2, 2022 the company located at 1901 Forbes Street, Oshawa, Ontario will be surrendering their “BW” type highway sufferance warehouse licence.
- (b) the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is advertising for a new highway sufferance warehouse in this area.
2. The CBSA is inviting applications for a licence to operate a public “BW” type highway sufferance warehouse under the authority of the Mississauga CBSA office.
3. The successful applicant must provide a warehouse facility that meets the requirements of the Customs Sufferance Warehouses Regulations and operate the facility as a public sufferance warehouse to store in-bond goods.
4. Interested parties may refer to Memorandum D4-1-4, Customs Sufferance Warehouses, and should apply by submitting Form E400B, Application for Licence to Operate a Customs Highway Sufferance Warehouse to the CBSA.
5. Applications must be received or postmarked no later than 14 calendar days after the publication date of this notice. Please send applications and direct any questions concerning this notice to:

Avis des douanes 22-21 : Fermeture d’entrepôt d’attente routier (Oshawa, Ontario)
1. L’objectif de cet avis est de vous informer :
- (a) qu’à partir du 2 novembre 2022, l’entrepôt d’attente situé au 1901 Forbes Street, Oshawa, Ontario, abandonnera son agrément pour l’exploitation d’un entrepôt d’attente routier de catégorie « BW » ;
- (b) b) que l’Agence des services frontaliers du Canada (ASFC) lance un appel pour des demandes d’agrément pour l’exploitation d’un nouvel entrepôt d’attente routier dans cette région.
2. L’ASFC est prête à recevoir des demandes d’agrément pour l’exploitation d’un entrepôt d’attente routier de catégorie « BW » sous l’autorité du bureau de l’ASFC de Mississauga, Ontario.
3. La compagnie retenue doit avoir un entrepôt qui respecte les exigences du Règlement sur les entrepôts d’attente des douanes et exploiter l’installation en tant qu’entrepôt d’attente public destiné à l’entreposage des marchandises sous douane.
4. Les parties intéressées peuvent consulter le Mémorandum D4-1-4, Entrepôts d’attente des douanes et soumettre un formulaire E400B, Demande d’agrément pour l’exploitation d’un entrepôt d’attente routier des douanes à l’ASFC.
5. Les demandes doivent être reçues ou porter la marque postale dans les 14 jours civils suivant la date de publication de cet avis. Veuillez faire parvenir vos demandes et vos questions à l’égard de cette demande au :
