D1-16-3, Guidelines for the Access to Use, and Disclosure of Advance Passenger Information (API) and Passenger Name Record (PNR) Data

This memorandum provides administrative guidelines on the access, use, and disclosure of API and PNR data within the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), as well as information regarding access and correction requests for this data.

This memorandum has been revised to reflect changes made to the related regulations, policies, and procedures which govern the access and use of Advance Passenger Information (API) and Passenger Name Record (PNR) data to enable the Interactive Advance Passenger Information (IAPI) program.
