We are presently experiencing technical difficulties with EICS/EXCOL. Technicians are currently working to resolve the issue.
Reported Issue #1 (EICS):
Error Message stating :
Message from webpage “Unable to locate the server. The server does not have a DNS entry.”
Fix: Ensure that the “entrust.ini” file, located under C:\Program Files\EICS-SCEI Direct\ , contains the following line:
initialBrowserURL=http://eics-scei.gc.ca/eicsv4/withwindowframe.asp
Reported Issue #2 (EICS):
Error Message stating :
Error from Secure Server “Unencrypted text response received from secure server… The Entrust/Direct server detected a security problem while processing a request. Error accepting Entrust/Session context”
Fix: Log off from Entrust-Direct and log on again.
