End of transition period for export certificate HA1941

CFIA advises that on August 15, 2018, the transition period ended for the use of the previous version of the export certificate for cattle or bison to the United States.  Only the new version of the certificate HA 1941 amended on June 27, 2018 will now be accepted. The USDA no longer requires bovine tuberculosis testing for cattle and bison from the Province of Manitoba. Article 9 of the export certificate has been amended accordingly and the column in which the date of tuberculosis testing is recorded has been removed from the Annex.

For more information, please refer to the Accredited Veterinarian’s Manual, Module 5.2 - Export to the U.S. – Cattle and Bison Born on or After March 1, 1999.
