Export of Horses to U.S.- New certificates

CFIA advises that Module 5.6: Export to the U.S.- Horses of the Accredited Veterinarian’s Manual has been updated:

New certificates (HA1964 and HA1963) to export Horses to the U.S. have been validated. USDA has confirmed that they do not require the inspection to take place at the premises of origin. The Heath certificates have been modified to reflect this. There is a 3-month transition period whereby the January 23, 2013 and August 13, 2018 versions of the certificate will be accepted by the U.S. This transition period will end November 13, 2018.
