Dear IFCBA friends and colleagues,

The Chinese New Year is here! This festival is for celebrating the beginning of a new year on the traditional lunar calendar, in Chinese culture and East Asian countries, and the festival is commonly referred to as the Spring Festival.

The Chinese New Year always has connections with animals, from the “Chinese Zodiac”. This year is the “Year of the Ox”. The Ox in Chinese traditional cultural represent the “Diligent”, “Strong” and “Dependable”. After a particularly challenging year, I wish that all IFCBA members could be healthy and successful in the “Year of the Ox”.

Ge Jizhong,
Chairman, IFCBA
