Hemlock woolly adelgid – consultation on policy updates

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is seeking feedback on updates to the policy directive D-07-05: Phytosanitary requirements to prevent the introduction and spread of the hemlock woolly adelgid (Adelges tsugae Annand) from the United States and within Canada.

Hemlock woolly adelgid (HWA) is a regulated pest under the Plant Protection Act. Your input is important to us. We encourage you to review the policy and a summary of the proposed revisions, and provide your comments by January 9, 2015. Please send your comments via email to: forestry-foresterie @inspection.gc.ca
