Importation of Foods Containing Insignificant Quantity of Meat Products

The CFIA letters of exemption for imported foods containing 2% and less of meat products expired on November 30, 2013.

The CFIA has put in an attestation process that started on December 1, 2013. The process is outlined in the following document: http://cscb.ca/sites/cscb.ca/files/uploads/Procedure_meat_exemption-2013.pdf.
