Registration for the 2018 CSCB Quebec Regional Conference is closing tomorrow, May 8th!

This year's conference is being held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the Sheraton Montreal Airport Hotel in Dorval.

We have prepared a great program for you. Here are the highlights:

  • The CSCB Chair Angela Collins and CSCB President Carol West will be discussing the latest developments on the IID, eCommerce, and Customs Broker regulation. 
  • A CBSA panel will update us on current initiatives in the QC region. The panelists are: Kurtis Clifford, Director, Trade Operations; Nathalie Brisebois, Programs Manager, CBSA Quebec Region; Steven Fryer, Director, Trade Appeals and Litigation, CBSA HQ; Daniel St-Arnaud, Regional Manager, Programs, CBSA Quebec Region, and Michelle Criger, CSCB National Office.
  • Michael Kaylor, Partner at Lapointe Rosenstein Marchand Melançon LLP will talk to us about the burden of proof at the CITT.
  • Marc Séguin, CBSA Director of Revenue Accounting and Reporting, and Janice McBride, CSCB Vice President will examine electronic payment options, enforcement of D17-5-1, implementation of DN/SOA statement format changes, credit tagging, offsets, remedies to ARL problems, and more.
