Minister Fast Thanks Ambassador Kirk for Advancing Canada-United States Relationship

The Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade and Minister for the Asia-Pacific Gateway, today made the following statement about the departure of Ambassador Ron Kirk from the position of United States trade representative at the end of February:

“On behalf of the Government of Canada and all Canadians, I want to thank Ambassador Ron Kirk for his efforts over the past four years to strengthen the Canada-United States relationship, the world’s greatest free trade success story.
