NAFTA Freight Flows Fall in December

The value of monthly freight flows between the U.S. and its NAFTA partners totaled $93.5 billion in December, down 7.1 percent from November but up 7.4 percent from a year earlier, according to Department of Transportation statistics.

The value of total U.S. trade with Canada fell 5.1 percent from November to $48.7 billion but was up 9.5 percent from a year earlier...

Mineral fuels moved past vehicles and parts as the top commodity category transported between the U.S. and Canada across all modes of transportation...
