New from Health Canada's Consumer Product Safety Program

Five new Consumer Product Enforcement Summary Reports are now available on the Health Canada’s Consumer Product Safety website:

Children’s Jewellery Regulations Report: the purpose of this Cyclical Enforcement (CE) project was to verify industry’s compliance of children’s jewellery for lead and cadmium content which are subject to the Children’s Jewellery Regulations.

Children’s Sleepwear Regulations Report:  the purpose of this Cyclical Enforcement (CE) project was to verify industry’s compliance of children’s sleepwear with specific requirements of the Children’s Sleepwear Regulations and the associated Children’s sleepwear: Flammability requirement guidelines.

Pacifiers Regulations Report:  the purpose of this Cyclical Enforcement (CE) project was to verify industry’s compliance of pacifiers to the mechanical and chemical requirements of the Pacifiers Regulations.

Infant Feeding Bottle Nipples Regulations Report:  the purpose of this Cyclical Enforcement (CE) project was to verify industry’s compliance of feeding bottle nipples to the chemical requirements of the Infant Feeding Bottle Nipples Regulations.

Drawstrings on Children’s Upper Outerwear Report: the purpose of this general prohibition project was to verify industry’s compliance of children’s upper outerwear with the performance criteria of the ASTM F1816-18, Standard Safety Specification for Drawstrings on Children’s Upper Outerwear.
