A Note to Women of the CSCB from Carol West, CSCB President

I have been invited to speak at an upcoming conference of the World Customs Organization on Women in Leadership. The general subject of my presentation is equality as a driving force in improved organizational performance. As you’d probably expect, I have some views about this subject but I am also interested in a broader perspective of Canadian women in businesses related to Customs and trade, and across generations.

I would be really interested to learn about your views and your experience on women in leadership. Please include your name, age and position in your company (all of which I will keep confidential) with your stories and feedback. If there is something you have to say, I would love to hear it. Views from men are also welcome.

Many thanks,

Carol
