The 2015 Beef and Veal Notice to Importers (No. 867) inviting applicants to submit an application for a share of the beef and veal tariff rate quota for the period January 1st to December 31st, 2015 is available in Appendix 1 of the notice.
The deadline to submit your 2015 application is December 31, 2014.
Please note the following changes: 2015 is the last year in which applicants will be given the choice of two reference periods (see section 3.3 of the Notice); a new allocation adjustment policy has been introduced (see section 7.2 of the Notice); the return and re-allocation policies have been amended (see section 7.3 and 7.4 of the Notice respectively); and the practice regarding cancellation of import permits once the new MFN pool is fully utilized has been clarified (see section 10.3 of the Notice)
