The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) initiated investigations on January 21, 2013, under the Special Import Measures Act, respecting the alleged injurious dumping of certain galvanized steel wire originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China, the State of Israel, and the Kingdom of Spain and the alleged injurious subsidizing of certain galvanized steel wire originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China.  The investigations follow a complaint filed by Tree Island Steel Ltd. of Richmond, British Columbia.
