Notice of initiation of re-investigation, refined sugar

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has today initiated a re‑investigation of the normal values and export prices of refined sugar, refined from sugar cane or sugar beets, in granulated, liquid and powdered form (refined sugar), originating in or exported from the United States, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom and amounts of subsidy of refined sugar originating in or exported from the European Union.

The re‑investigation is part of the CBSA’s enforcement of the Canadian International Trade Tribunal’s (CITT) order issued on August 6, 2021.

Avis d’ouverture d’un réexamen, Sucre raffiné

L’Agence des services frontaliers du Canada (ASFC) a aujourd’hui ouvert un réexamen des valeurs normales et des prix à l’exportation du sucre raffiné tiré de la canne à sucre ou de la betterave sucrière sous forme de granules, de liquide et de poudre (sucre raffiné), originaire ou exporté des États‑Unis, du Danemark, d’Allemagne, des Pays‑Bas et du Royaume‑Uni et des montants de subvention du sucre raffiné originaire ou exporté de l’Union européenne.

Le présent réexamen fait partie de l’application par l’ASFC de l’ordonnance rendu par le Tribunal canadien du commerce extérieur (TCCE) le 6 août 2021.
