Dear stakeholders,

A proposed amendment to the Energy Efficiency Regulations revising the minimum energy performance standards for general service lighting (light bulbs) to align with those standards in effect in the United States was pre-published on October 5, 2013 in the Canada Gazette, Part I at http://canadagazette.gc.ca/rp-pr/p1/2013/2013-10-05/html/reg6-eng.html

Interested persons are invited to provide comments on the proposed changes by Thursday, December 19, 2013.
