The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is inviting comments on a user fee proposal for Destination Inspection Service (DIS).
Destination inspection is a quality-based inspection of fresh fruits and vegetables. The results of these inspections help settle commercial disputes, primarily between sellers and purchasers of fresh produce. The proposal sets out revised fees that would be introduced on April 1, 2013.
