Reminder: NISC service change during upcoming statutory holiday - May 18

This message is for all importers and customs brokers who do business with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) National Import Service Centre (NISC).

Please be advised during the upcoming statutory holiday (May 18th, 2020), the NISC’s service hours will remain from 7:00 AM to 3:00 AM (Eastern Standard time) but its telephone lines (1-800-835-4486 and 1-877-493-0468) will not be monitored from 6:00 PM EST on May 15th to 7:00 AM EST on May 19th. If you require assistance from NISC during this period, please email [email protected].

Changement de Service du CSNI durant le prochain jour férié - 18 mai

Ce message s’adresse à tous les importateurs et courtiers en douane qui font affaire avec le Centre national de services à l’importation (CSNI) de l’Agence canadienne d’inspection des aliments (ACIA).

Veuillez noter que pendant le prochain jour férié (18 mai, 2020), les heures de service du CSNI demeureront de 7 h à 3 h heure normal de l’Est (HNE), mais les lignes téléphoniques (1-800-835-4486 and 1-877-493-0468) ne seront pas surveillées à compter de 18 h HNE le 15 mai jusqu’à 7 h HNE le 19 mai. Si vous nécessitez l’aide du CSNI au cours de cette période, veuillez envoyer un courriel à [email protected].
