On February 24, 2022, pursuant to paragraph 76.03(7)(a) of the Special Import Measures Act, the Canada Border Services Agency determined that the expiry of the finding made by the Canadian International Trade Tribunal on October 20, 2016, in Inquiry No. NQ‑2016‑001:

  1. is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping of welded large diameter carbon and alloy steel line pipe originating in or exported from China and Japan and
  2. is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of subsidizing of welded large diameter carbon and alloy steel line pipe originating in or exported from China
