The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has developed temporary measures and conditions to help the animal feed industry in British Columbia continue to maintain the supply of feed to livestock and protect animal health in light of the challenges created by recent floods. The flooding has negatively impacted transportation by both road and rail, interrupting livestock feed supply chains.
