Temporary SFC licence conditions for importing lettuce from the U.S. / Conditions temporaires assorties à la licence de SAC visant l'importation de laitue des États-Unis

Effective September 28, 2022, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) will again add a temporary condition to Fresh Fruit and Vegetable import licences, which will require sampling and testing of some California romaine lettuce prior to import into Canada.

The temporary conditions will be required from September 28 to December 22, 2022.

À compter du 28 septembre 2022, l'Agence canadienne d'inspection des aliments (ACIA) ajoutera de nouveau une condition temporaire à des licences d'importation de fruits et légumes frais, qui exigeront l'échantillonnage et l'analyse de certaines laitues romaines de Californie avant leur importation au Canada.

Ces conditions temporaires s'appliqueront du 28 septembre au 22 décembre 2022.
