Truckers refuse to return to cabs, despite threats

Truckers say they will not be swayed by bullying tactics from the port and the government and claim they’ll remain united and off the job Monday despite threats of revoked licences and back-to-work legislation.

Rather than weakening the resolve of truckers who have remained off the job since late February, the threats have only strengthened the picket line, Unifor spokesman Gavin McGarrigle said Sunday.
