Two-port Processing – eManifest

CBSA has confirmed the process for two-port processing under eManifest.

If a carrier reports at a port that is different from the port of destination indicated on the PARS, Border Services Officers (BSOs) are being instructed to change the port of report on the cargo report or the port of release on PARS so that they match and a release can take place.  The carrier, if bonded, can also request to move in bond for release.

However, if the ports on the cargo report and the PARS do not match pre-arrival, a Y50 will be sent to the broker advising them of the port of report that the carrier has provided.

Members are asked to provide the transaction number(s) to the CSCB ([email protected]) where the BSO does not follow the above process; these will be brought to the attention of CBSA.
