Upcoming Webinar: An Introduction to Obtaining Release Prior to Payment (RPP) Bonds

The Surety Association of Canada is hosting an upcoming webinar: An Introduction to Obtaining Release Prior to Payment Bonds. This webinar session will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (EST).

We are still awaiting critical information on Release Prior To Payment surety bonds and how to obtain them in CARM Release 2 as is the Surety Association of Canada, and this information will be shared by the CSCB as soon as it becomes available.

This webinar will cover the following topics:

An introduction and overview of RPP bonds
The difference between RPP bonds and other forms of security (i.e., cash, credit card, etc.)
How to obtain an RPP bond and the underwriting process
Current surety industry challenges and how this may affect bonding
Q&A
