Update to the Accredited Veterinarian Manual / Mise à jour du manuel du vétérinaire accrédité

Please be advised that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has updated the following modules of the Accredited Veterinarian Manual:

Module 7.3 – Scrapie Flock Certification Program: Accredited Veterinarian's Responsibilities

  • Awareness of the requirements related to males imported from the US into farms on the SFCP.

Module 7.5, Appendix G: List of Laboratories

  • Clarification of current sample submission permissions to Laboratoire d'épidémiosurveillance animale du Québec (MAPAQ).

Module 9, Appendices

  • Requirement to use the electronic sample submission template for the submission of samples for EBL testing.

Veuillez prendre note que l'Agence canadienne d'inspection des aliments (ACIA) a mis à jour les modules suivants du manuel du vétérinaire accrédité:

  • Connaissance des exigences relatives aux mâles importés des États-Unis dans les exploitations du PCTT

  • Clarification des autorisations actuelles de soumission d'échantillons au Laboratoire d'épidémiosurveillance animale du Québec (MAPAQ).

Module 9, Annexes

  • Obligation d'utiliser le gabarit électronique de soumission d'échantillons pour la soumission d'échantillons pour les tests EBL
