Update to the Accredited Veterinarian Manual – Modules 5.2, 6.1, 10.2 & 10.3 / Mise à jour du manuel du vétérinaire accrédité – les modules 5.2, 6.1, 10.2 & 10.3

Please be advised that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has updated the following modules of the Accredited Veterinarian Manual:

Module 5.2; Export of cattle and bison to the US

  • Certification of non slaughter cattle & bison categories on multiple conveyances

Module 6.1; Export to Mexico - General Requirements

  • United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) in transit permits and concurrent certification for export to the US

Module 10.2; Artificial Insemination - bovine and Module 10.3; Artificial Insemination - porcine

  • Handling of leptospirosis positive animals from on farm and isolation testing

Please take the time to review the updated modules and if you have any questions, reach out to your local animal health district office.

Mise à jour du manuel du vétérinaire accrédité – les modules 5.2, 6.1, 10.2 & 10.3

Veuillez prendre note que l'Agence canadienne d'inspection des aliments (ACIA) a mis à jour les modules suivants du manuel du vétérinaire accrédité:

Module 5.2; Exportations destinées aux États-Unis - Bovins et bisons nés le ou après le 1er mars 1999

  • Certification des catégories de bovins et bisons non abattus dans les cas d'envois multiples

Module 6.1; Exportations destinées au Mexique - Exigences générales

  • Permis de transit de l'United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) et certification simultanée pour l'exportation vers les États-Unis

Module 10.2; Insémination artificielle - bovins et Module 10.3; Insémination artificielle - porcins

  • Traitement d'animaux positifs à la leptospirose provenant des tests à la ferme et d'isolement
