Chapter 02 was published to;
i) change the release recommendation from "Refuse entry" to "Refer to CFIA-NISC" for the following HS codes with the end uses; "In transit through Canada" and "Other end uses" originating from Portugal.
02.03 - Meat of swine, fresh, chilled or frozen.
02.06.30 - Of swine, fresh or chilled
02.06.41 - Of swine, frozen: livers
02.06.49 - Of swine, frozen
02.09.10 - Of pigs
02.10.11 - Meat of swine: hams, shoulders and cuts thereof, with bone in
02.10.12 - Meat of swine: bellies (streaky) and cuts thereof
02.10.19 - Meat of swine: other
This created a requirement version change to the same HS codes originating from; Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Slovakia and Slovenia.
ii) change the release recommendation from "Refer to CFIA-NISC" to "Refuse entry" for the following HS codes with the end uses; "In transit through Canada" and "Other end uses originating from Italy and Romania.
