Please be advised that a new "Notice to Industry – Update on compliance timelines for the use of food additives in certain ready-to-eat meat products" has been published.

Regulated parties have a transition period to bring their labels and advertising into compliance. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has extended the transition period to end on November 8, 2023.

Regulated parties are encouraged to refer to the Industry Labelling Tool.

Mise à jour: Additifs alimentaires dans des produits de viande prêts-à-manger

Veuillez noter qu’un nouvel « Avis à l'industrie – Mise à jour sur les dates pour la conformité des additifs alimentaires dans certains produits de viande prêts-à-manger » a été publié.

Les parties réglementées dispose d'une période de transition afin de rendre leurs étiquettes et leur publicité conformes. L'Agence canadienne d'inspection des aliments (ACIA) prolonge la période de transition jusqu’au 8 novembre 2023.

Les parties réglementées sont invité à consulter l'Outil d'étiquetage pour l'industrie.
