What we heard: Consultation on provision of information for foods sold via e-commerce
From May 9 to July 8, 2022, Health Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency consulted on the development of voluntary guidance that would apply to food products sold to consumers in Canada through e-commerce. This purpose of this guidance is to make food information more consistently available and accessible to Canadians when shopping for food online.

Du 9 mai au 8 juillet 2022, Santé Canada et l’Agence canadienne d’inspection des aliments ont mené des consultations sur l’élaboration de lignes directrices volontaires qui s’appliqueraient aux produits alimentaires vendus aux consommateurs au Canada au moyen du commerce électronique. Le but des présentes lignes directrices est de rendre l’information sur les aliments disponible de façon plus uniformément disponible et accessible aux Canadiens lorsqu’ils magasinent en ligne.
