The Department of Finance is currently reviewing a request for the removal of the customs duties on imports of chlorinated polyethylene, classified under tariff item No. 3901.90.00 of the Customs Tariff as a polymer of ethylene, in primary form, dutiable at 3% under the Most-Favoured-Nation (MFN) Tariff. There is no rate available under the General Preferential Tariff (GPT).
