This message applies to imports of frozen pork from the European Union falling under tariff item No. 0203.29.00 of the Customs Tariff. The purpose of this message is to inform you that the 2010-2011 tariff rate quota (TRQ) for frozen pork from the European Union will be accessible on Monday, July 5, 2010, at 12:00 hrs (noon) Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). Any applications submitted prior to 12:00 hrs EDT on Monday, July 5, 2010 will be rejected.

This memorandum explains the policies and procedures relating to the accounting, revenue reporting, payment of duties and adjustment of goods imported into Canada by an importer authorized under the Customs Self Assessment (CSA) program. The memorandum also provides information about how to apply for authorization under the program, and a general overview of the CSA clearance process. A glossary of terms used in this document is included in Appendix A of this memorandum.

This memorandum describes the Canada Border Services Agency’s (CBSA) Administrative Monetary Penalty System (AMPS). Revisions This is to inform you that a correction was made to Appendix B of Memorandum D22-1-1, Administrative Monetary Penalty System, dated April 21, 2010. The ECCRD for highway is designed to provide clients with technical user information on how to submit, change, delete and amend advance information under eManifest and to assist clients with their internal systems' implementation. Policy guidelines will be developed and made available through the Reporting of Imported Goods Regulations and related D-Memoranda. However, your PKI Certificate (Entrust Profile) may have become disabled if multiple logins are attempted while the PKI directory is unavailable. This includes Certificates used for EDI encryption. The following is excerpted from today's edition of "WordTrade Interactive". In a May 13 confirmation hearing before the Senate Finance Committee, Customs Commissioner Alan Bersin said he will work to further facilitate legitimate international trade and improve consultations with public and private stakeholders. Bersin was recess appointed by President Obama in March, meaning that unless he is confirmed by the Senate he will be required to step down as commissioner at the end of 2011.
