As of March 15, 2021, food import transactions of meat, fish, dairy, eggs, processed eggs, processed fruits or vegetables, honey, maple and, fresh fruits or vegetables will automatically be rejected by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) when transmitted electronically, unless a valid SFC licence is entered in the Integrated Import Declaration (IID) system.
In order to ensure you are up-to-date regarding SFC licensing requirements, please join us on March 5th at 1 p.m. EST for a webinar where all things SFC licensing related will be discussed.
Mathew Bell, Policy and Program Specialist, Food Imports, at CFIA will host the webinar and other specialists from CFIA will also be available.
If you have questions that you’d like to see addressed on the webinar, please forward them to Michelle Criger.
CCS points and CTCS credits will be awarded to participants.
