Foods and beverages affected by changes to animal health policy for milk imports

Following is a update to a 19 January 2021 message from CFIA:

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the publication of the new conditions for foods and beverages with milk ingredients has once again been delayed. I will be in touch with more information once I have it.

At this point I would also like to clarify that none of the new import conditions apply to products imported from the United States. Milk and milk products from the United States may enter Canada without any zoosanitary requirements or certification as per the Health of Animals Regulations.
