Advancing the Chemicals Management Plan - information session

The Government of Canada is pleased to be hosting five webinars (three will be held in English and two in French) to help further explain to stakeholders key initiatives under the next phase of the Chemicals Management Plan. 2012 Customs Tariff

CBSA has advised the CSCB that the Department of Finance will be issuing a bill to reduce the number of items in the 2012 Customs Tariff by 1,100. At the same time, Statistics Canada will be reducing the number of 10-digit items by approximately 6,000.

Lamy lauds role of Advisory Centre on WTO Law

Director-General Pascal Lamy, on 4 October 2011, congratulated the Advisory Centre on WTO Law on its tenth anniversary, noting that it “has assisted developing and least-developed countries with some 40 WTO disputes, provided training to over 200 delegates, and responded to an ever-growing need for legal advice”.
