Welcome to the New CSCB Website!

We are very excited to present to you our new website!     Click Here for a Quick Help Guide

The look of the site is the most obvious change, but we also spent a lot of time with usability experts who interviewed stakeholders and identified areas for improvement particularly in the user accounts. We can't wait for you to try it.

NOTE: There is no change to your login information.

Here are the highlights of the major changes.

Our main menu contains the most accessed areas of our website.

The user menu will be accessible from every page, except home page, as long as you're logged in. What the menu contains depends on who you are and what your role is with us.

For individuals employed by member firms, we have also updated our email categories*. This is another area where we engaged stakeholders in helping us organize information in a way that makes more sense to you. Of course, different people categorize information differently, but we hope that we have reached a sweet spot and you'll be able to find our information more easily. We will not only be tagging our email articles but any other relevant pieces of content. This will assist in managing and accessing all the topics, which brings us to the last big change, our Advocacy section.

You may be aware that our advocacy information is available to selected employees of our customs broker member firms. It is the principals of those firms that select which employees have access to our members-only content.

Those of you who have this access will also see Advocacy in your main menu, which will open up to all the different topics mentioned above. So essentially, every topic includes many different types of content, such as email articles, meeting summaries and presentations, technical and policy documents, etc.

We will be touching base with you in the upcoming months to check and look forward to your feedback. Although it feels like the end, this is just the beginning! We will work tirelessly to make this site a useful tool for you.

* Because we have changed our email categories, you will have to login to your account and update your Email Preferences. Click here for a quick guide on how to do that.
