What you’ll learn:
- What CARM is and what it isn’t
- How to register and manage your business account in the CARM Client Portal (CCP)
- Key processes like Delegation of Authority and Release Prior to Payment (RPP)
- How to complete a Commercial Accounting Declaration (CAD)
- Billing cycles, payment options, corrections, and adjustments

You may enrol in the CARM Essentials Micro-course at any time.
You will have access to the course content for a period of 60 days starting from the day you start the course. You may take your final exam at any time within these 60 days. If you take the exam before the 60th day, you will still retain access to the course for the full duration of 60 days.
The CARM Essentials Micro-course is divided into five lessons, as follows:
- What is CARM?
- The CARM Client Portal (CCP)
- The Commercial Accounting Declaration (CAD)
- Billing Cycles and Payments
- Corrections and Adjustments
A CCS designate will be awarded 10 professional development points for a successful completion of the final examination. A grade of 70% or greater on the final examination is required to pass.
A CTCS designate will be awarded 10 professional development credits for a successful completion of the final examination. A grade of 70% or greater on the final examination is required to pass.
