1610 kg of cannabis intercepted by CBSA officers in Halifax

On May 5, 2025, a container holding goods declared as 'tiles', destined for export to Barbados, was examined by Halifax CBSA border services officers and found to actually contain 1,610 kilograms of suspected cannabis, valued at nearly $12 million CAD.

The RCMP are continuing the investigation.
