Addition of in-line verification to C-PIQ Onion Pilot

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) would like to advise of an update to section 6.3 of the Operational procedure: onion pilot project for Canadian Partners in Quality preventive control inspection. In addition to the use of a lot verification system, program participants may now also choose to apply an in-line verification system. Those selecting to apply an in-line verification system must follow the requirements outlined in section 3.0, Production Controls, of the Canadian Partners in Quality (C-PIQ) Manual.

L’Agence canadienne d’inspection des aliments (ACIA) aimerait vous informer d’une mise à jour à la section 6.3 de la Procédure opérationnelle : projet pilote sur l’oignon pour l’inspection de contrôle préventif dans le cadre du programme des partenaires pour la qualité. En plus de l’utilisation d’un système de vérification de lots, les participants au programme peuvent maintenant choisir d’appliquer un système de vérification en ligne. Ceux qui choisissent d’appliquer un système de vérification en ligne doivent respecter les exigences décrites à la section 3.0, Contrôles de la production, du Manuel de Programme des partenaires pour la qualité au Canada (PPQ-C).
