Additional certification for Canadian cattle returning from the US after a stay of less than 60 days

Due to the outbreak of HPAI (H5N1) in dairy cattle in the United States (US), the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) will require an additional certification for Canadian cattle returning from the US after a stay of less than 60 days.

This will be required as of August 14, 2024.

En raison de l’éclosion de l’IAHP (H5N1) chez la vache laitière aux États-Unis, l’Agence canadienne d’inspection des aliments (ACIA) demandera une certification additionnelle pour les bovins domestiques canadiens revenant d’un séjour aux États-Unis de moins de 60 jours.

Ceci s’appliquera dès le 14 août 2024.
