Please be advised that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has updated the following regulatory guidance document for livestock feeds:

Note the following changes that have been made:

  • Information on the importation of plant-based feed ingredients and African Swine Fever has been added to the section "Import conditions for livestock feeds".
  • A new section providing importers with information on what to do if there are issues with importing livestock feeds into Canada has been added to the end of RG-10.
  • Additional Government of Canada resources (CFIA AIRS web page, Canada Border Services Agency and CFIA NISC (National Import Service Centre)) have been added to the "References" section.

Veuillez noter que l'Agence canadienne d'inspection des aliments (ACIA) a mis à jour la directive réglementaire suivante pour les aliments du bétail :

Veuillez prendre note des changements suivants :

  • Des informations sur l'importation des aliments à ingrédient unique d'origine végétale et la peste porcine africaine ont étés ajoutés à la section « Conditions d'importation pour les aliments du bétail »
  • Une nouvelle section fournissant des renseignements pour aider les importateurs s'ils éprouvent des difficultés avec l'importation des aliments du bétail au Canada a été ajoutée à la fin du document RG-10
  • Des ressources supplémentaires du Gouvernement du Canada (site SARI de l'ACIA, ASFC et le CSNI (Centre de service national à l'importation) de l'ACIA) ont été ajoutées à la section « Références ».
