Animal Feed – Policy and Procedures Updates

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has extended the consultation period for the following single ingredient feed descriptions:

Share your thoughts: Proposed amended livestock feed ingredients – Yeast biomasses from fermentation processes
Share your thoughts: Proposed new and amended livestock feed ingredients – Yeast-derived gut modifier ingredients

We are seeking comments on the proposed descriptions by April 20, 2026.
