Effective July 8, 2025, the USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has removed restrictions on imports of poultry and related products originating from or transiting zone PCZ-269 in Saskatchewan, Canada, originally imposed due to concerns about avian influenza.
There are currently only three restricted zones in Canada:
- PCZ-257 in British Columbia
- PCZ-270 in Manitoba
