Are you a CCS/CTCS designate approaching retirement?

Did you know that retirement does not mean losing your designation?

The CCS and CTCS designations can easily be converted to a CCS-Retired Status or CTCS-Retired Status. You won’t need to pay an annual fee or accumulate professional points/credits but you will stay connected and informed on the world of customs and border management.

To be eligible you must be:

  • a Canadian CCS (Certified Customs Specialist)/CTCS (Certified Trade Compliance Specialist) designate at the time of retirement;
  • 55 or older; and
  • not employed in the field of international trade.

Requests for CCS/CTCS-Retired Status are made online.

While the collection of professional points/credits is not required with Retired Status, we know how much fun the free quizzes are, so you can certainly participate in those as you enjoy your retirement!
