Australia: Seasonal Measures Related To BMSB- Follow Up Message

Following is a message from Global Affairs Canada:

This is a further reminder to our previous messages that the Australian Department of Agriculture will be hosting four information sessions in September 2019 regarding seasonal measures for brown marmorated stink bug (BMSB) and treatment compliance requirements. We are encouraging all affected stakeholders, and treatment providers who wish to  conducts BMSB treatments during the 2019/2020 risk season, to attend these sessions as this will provide a unique opportunity to learn more about the Offshore BMSB treatment measures, and provider schemes and registration requirements. Additional information on the BMSB information session is available in the attached PDF file.

For treatment providers interested in being registered with Australia, please note that while in each location, the Australian officials are able to visit one treatment provider to conduct a registration review.  Treatment providers interested in taking advantage of this opportunity should inform the Australian Department of Agriculture ( [email protected]) no later than 30th August.
